We LOVE pizza! However, we could not find much locally that was not overly processed, let alone farm to table and affordable.  Don't get us wrong, there are some great traditions in our wonderful little town, but nothing that seemed to fit the bill.  

A spur of the moment inspiration quickly took shape. six months later, July 03 of 2017, Bella Mack's opened its doors for the first time.  

Bella Mack is located in the historical former Bolt's Meat Market.  The building was constructed in 1898,  and it still maintains its original tin vaulted ceiling and a ton of its old character.  

   Dinner and a show?  Let us make your dinner right in front of you, while you wait!  Our chemical free, non-bromated pizza dough is made fresh daily, veggies hand picked from the tri-county area (when available), and lots of top notch meats straight from Chicago.  But be aware, this is not a place that can rush perfection.  The dough is hand rolled, sauced, topped, then placed in Bella Mack's 1964 South Bend double decker pizza oven.  If you're looking for a quick fix, call ahead or join for pizza by the slice during lunch. While we may be pretty amazing at slinging some dough, freshly made to order, artisan food takes a time.  Don't want to wait around?
